The Taurasi by Bellaria is a red wine of great elegance and power, made from 100% Aglianico grapes grown in the renowned vineyards of Paternopoli and Montemiletto, in the heart of Irpinia. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation and 18 months of aging in 225-liter French oak barriques. After a maturation period of over four years, the wine fully expresses the authentic character of Taurasi. The bouquet is broad and persistent, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, toasted hints, and a refined balsamic note. On the palate, it is rich, structured, and enveloping, with elegant notes of vanilla, licorice, and chocolate. A superb long-aging red, perfect with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
