Malbec 'Gran Vu' 2015 (750 ml.) Salentein

Malbec 'Gran Vu' by Salentein is a blend of Malbec (73%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (27%). Born in the Valle de Uco of Mendoza close to the Andes from small parcels of vineyards: Malbec at 1,200 meters above sea level. from 20-year-old vineyards and the Cabernet Sauvignon from 17-year-old vineyards at 1,150 meters above sea level. The bunches are harvested by hand early in the morning and sent to the cellar where the clusters are selected by hand. The wine is aged for 24 months in French oak. The hints of red fruits, licorice and mint immediately stand out, followed by notes of sweet spices. When tasted it is elegant and well structured with soft and velvety tannins. It recalls berries, spices and graphite notes and a long and persistent finish. Annual production 6,000 bottles.

Salentein

In the majestic heart of the Uco Valley, where the Andes stand watch like ancient guardians, the winery Salentein rises, a jewel of Argentine winemaking. Founded with a clear vision to elevate Argentine wine to international standards, Salentein has become a beacon of elegance and quality in the Mendoza region. Here, at an altitude that challenges the limits of traditional viticulture, the vines thrive in a unique terroir, producing wines that are authentic expressions of the purest and most unspoiled Argentina.

The Uco Valley, with its cool climate and extreme altitudes, is the ideal stage for Malbec, the country's flagship grape, and for the refined Chardonnay. Salentein, with a production philosophy that combines innovation and respect for nature, cultivates these varieties with meticulous care, producing wines that express a surprising complexity and depth. Each bottle is a tribute to the land, a journey through the intense aromas and vibrant flavors that only these lands can offer.

Among the main labels, Numina and Primus Malbec stand out for their impeccable structure and their ability to tell stories of passion and dedication. Numina, a masterfully orchestrated blend, enchants with its notes of ripe fruit and spices, while Primus Malbec, powerful and seductive, opens with aromas of blackberry and chocolate, supported by velvety tannins and extraordinary persistence.

We invite wine lovers to discover on Vino45 the refined creations of Salentein: an invitation to be carried away by the magic of a region that, with its wines, continues to enchant and surprise the whole world.
