Barolo 'Lazzarito' by Vietti is made from grapes from the single MGA 'Lazzarito' vineyard in the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, a fabulous amphitheater-like plot with south-west exposure. Vines with an average age of 40 years. Aging for about 30 months in wood between oak barrels and a small part in barriques. The nose is fascinating and deep. Notes of hay, cut grass, tobacco, white pepper and wild mint are perceived. On the palate it is robust, muscular, with a taut and mineral finish. The tannins are typical of Serralunga, angular, austere and very deep. Pleasant sweet persistence on the finish. A great Barolo, to be left in the cellar to reach its maximum splendor in a few years.
