Etna Rosso 'Il Musmeci' by Tenuta di Fessina is a wine dedicated to Mr. Ignazio Musmeci, who for many years has preserved the vines with so much love that it has been able to work vines that are over eighty years old. It is a pure Nerello Mascalese that was born in Rovittello at 700 meters above sea level. from 1932 vineyards. Cultivated in semicircular skies that create a microclimate that allows the grapes to ripen slowly and completely, giving the wine unique elegance and complexity, which are refined in the bottle, giving austerity and longevity. Refines 10-12 months in French oak tonneaux, then in large barrels for 6-8 months and finally in the bottle for at least 4 years. Bouquet of red fruit and Mediterranean herbs, tannic and silky taste, velvety, round, complex finish. Excellent.

Tenuta di Fessina
On the majestic northern slope of Etna, where the fire of the earth meets the sky, stands Tenuta di Fessina. Here, in one of the most fascinating and inaccessible places in Sicily, the vineyard finds its home on volcanic soils, which give the wines a unique and unmistakable character. The winery is passionately dedicated to enhancing the peculiarities of this extraordinary terroir, through wines that speak the language of earth and fire, air and time.
Tenuta di Fessina embraces the DOC Etna denomination, a symbol of excellence and authenticity of Sicilian viticulture. Here, the production philosophy is based on a respectful and creative approach, which combines tradition and innovation in a perfect balance. The Nerello Mascalese and Carricante vines, cultivated with care and dedication, represent the beating heart of the production. These native varieties, deeply linked to the territory, give life to wines that are a true tribute to the strength and beauty of the volcano.
Among the main labels, Etna Rosso stands out for its elegance and complexity. This wine is a sensory journey that leads through a mosaic of aromas and flavors, from ripe red fruits to mineral notes, up to a finish that recalls the ash and basalt of Etna. Every sip is an invitation to discover the soul of this magical and wild land, where nature reigns supreme.
