Rosso di Montalcino DOC 'Jacopo' 2019 (750 ml.) Il Marroneto

Rosso di Montalcino 'Jacopo' by Il Marroneto estate was created in 2019 when Alessandro Mori produced a special version of his Rosso di Montalcino, dedicated to his son Jacopo. A pure Sangiovese that combines the typical complexity of local wines, with a nice freshness of drink, giving life to a younger and more fruity version of Brunello. The wine ages in 25-hectolitre oak barrels for 8 months and ends the refinement with a further 6 months in the bottle. The refinement gives the wine an elegant, floral and fruity bouquet of cherry and red berried fruits. Pleasant hints of spice, tobacco and noble woods with a balsamic finish. Good structure, juicy fruit and beautiful evolutionary notes. Well integrated and balanced tannins for a fresh and persistent finish.
