Produced artisanally, it is obtained from wild myrtle leaves handpicked in the untouched countryside of Sardinia. Since 1926, Distilleria Rau has embodied passion, identity, and a strong family legacy. Born as a small artisanal lab for traditional Sardinian liqueurs, it has evolved into a modern company that still preserves its authentic roots. At the heart of Rau is the historic distillery, where Sardinian excellence takes shape daily: from the iconic Mirto RAU to the refined Gin GENESI, grappas, and herbal liqueurs—all crafted from local wild botanicals, hand-harvested and processed using family recipes.

Beyond distillation, Rau proudly established Tenuta l’Ariosa, a wine estate that captures the rugged soul of northwestern Sardinia. Here, native grapes are grown among sea breezes and stony soils, producing expressive wines with a strong territorial identity.
