Champagne Brut 'Cuvee Prestige' by Taittinger is made from 40 % Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, using perfectly matured grapes harvested from over 35 different vineyards. This subtle blend results in a light, elegant and balanced champagne. The high proportion of Chardonnay (40 %), allows the Brut Réserve to reach its full aromatic potential after maturing for 3 to 4 years in the cellars. It is unusual for a non-vintage blend to have such a high quantity of Chardonnay, and this is what makes this non-vintage blend so balanced, consistent and world-renowned. It is an excellent champagne, suitable for any occasion.

Taittinger
In the heart of the prestigious Champagne region in France, the Maison Taittinger stands elegantly, a jewel of history and winemaking refinement. Founded on solid family traditions, Taittinger is one of the few houses still led by the founding family, a detail that is reflected in every single bottle produced. Here, tradition marries innovation, giving the world Champagne of extraordinary elegance and finesse.
The terroir of Champagne, characterized by chalky soils and a unique climate, provides the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the three main grapes that give life to these prestigious wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Among these, Chardonnay occupies a place of honor, giving Taittinger wines an unmistakable freshness and lightness, distinctive notes that are found in every glass.
Among the gems of the Taittinger production, the Comtes de Champagne stands majestically. This cuvée, made exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from the best Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, is the symbol of the purest elegance, with notes of citrus, white flowers and a minerality that evokes the land from which it comes. Every sip is a journey between tradition and modernity, a sensory experience that tells the story of a timeless territory.
Let yourself be seduced by the unmistakable charm of Taittinger wines on Vino45: an invitation to discover the quintessence of Champagne, where the past meets the present in a toast of elegance and style.

THE MAISON
Among the oldest Maison of the entire appellation, Taittinger is a name that inevitably identifies in every corner of the world one of the greatest French families that has contributed in a decisive way to the success of Champagne.
The history of this mythical Maison began in 1743, when Jacques Fourneaux began his business as a merchant, first selling white and red wines, and then devoting himself to the sale of bubbles. The Forneaux family continued to operate in this sector with great results, joining forces with Antoine Forest, creating the company "Forest-Forneaux" and increasing its success.
In 1932 a young man with a passion for wine, Pierre-Charles Taittinger, bought the "Forest-Forneaux" and began his wine-growing adventure under the Taittinger brand in the town of Reims. Since the beginning of production, the Maison has established an ever increasing bond with its bottles with a particular grape variety, chardonnay, an increasingly central grape variety in every assembly, up to the exit, under the direction of Francois Taittinger, in the 1952, by Comtes de Champagne, the first "Cuvée de Prestige" produced in the area entirely made with only white grapes.
Today at the head of the company we find, since 2005, Pierre-Emanuel Taittinger, direct descendant of Pierre-Charles, surrounded by a team where competence and professionalism are the fulcrum of a winery that continues to be animated by a strong spirit of conquest and tradition.
There are 288 hectares of property, scattered among 34 of the best crus in the whole region; here mainly chardonnay and pinot noir are grown, to which is added a 15% pinot meunier. Every year nine labels are born between the walls of Reims, where Brut Reserve, "Prestige" Rosé and "Nocturne" flank the great Comtes de Champagne and the different vintage wines that carry the great coat of arms of the Maison Taittinger around the world.
