Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Millésime by Delamotte is a concert of flavors and aromas: Chardonnay in purity from various vineyards that each have brought their own singularity: from Mesnil-sur-Oger (20%), acidity, purity and chalky minerality , from Ad Avize (20%), balance and structure, from Oger (20%), warmth, breadth and generosity, from Cramant, smoky minerality, from Chouilly, frame and length and finally from Oyry, acidity and softness. Six years on the lees to obtain a wine of great power, concentration and lightness. Supreme elegance, wine to keep.

Delamotte
In the renowned Champagne region, where the vines are intertwined with history and tradition, stands the Maison Delamotte. This historic winery, often considered the "little sister" of the famous Salon, is a beacon of elegance and refinement in the French wine scene. Founded on an extraordinary terroir, Delamotte has distinguished itself by producing Champagnes that embody purity and grace, a reflection of a savoir-faire passed down through the generations.
The Delamotte house is located in the pulsating heart of the Champagne region and is passionately dedicated to the cultivation of the noble grapes that give life to its exceptional wines. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier find an ideal home here, thanks to a unique climate and chalky soils that give the wines an unmistakable structure and a complex aromatic bouquet. Each bottle of Delamotte tells a story, a sensory journey that passes through the golden light of the wine and is lost in the floral and citrus aromas.
Among the Maison's top labels, Blanc de Blancs is a true oenological jewel. Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this Champagne expresses all the freshness and minerality of the terroir, with notes of white flowers and a persistence that enchants the palate. Every sip is a promise of elegance and a celebration of the artisanal tradition that Delamotte proudly preserves.
We invite enthusiasts and the curious to discover the enchantment of Delamotte wines on Vino45. Let yourself be transported to a world of magical bubbles and toast with a glass that contains centuries of history and passion for French oenological excellence.

THE COMPANY
A great Champagne is first of all a great wine. With this premise, the Maison Delamotte, "sister" of Salon and also located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Grand Cru village of the Côte des Blancs, presents itself. Founded in Reims in 1760 by François Delamotte, it is the fifth Champagne house in order of seniority. Only at the end of the 18th century, Alexandre Delamotte buys a small villa in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger under which he builds the cellars: the idea is to be close to the suppliers of the most precious grapes, those of Chardonnay. The Maison thrives while remaining small in size (currently around 700,000 bottles are produced), it experiences two important leaps in quality in 1975 and 1988. The first date coincides with the arrival of the Bordeaux winemaker Alain Terrier, who takes care of to reconceptualize the maison style by deepening its philosophy that sees champagne first and foremost as a “pleasure wine”. The vinification in wood is therefore abandoned to switch to steel, convinced that the wine should not be influenced by any extraneous aroma and, therefore, express the terroir and variety with the utmost purity and intensity. It was 1988, however, when Delamotte joined Salon. In 1997, the skilled Didier Depond took over the management of the two "sister" companies, as the last step in the growth path of the two Maisons. "Vive et me Ama": live and love me, Delamotte's motto, proudly recounts the idea of blending modernity and tradition, a complexity at the service of pleasure.
