Color: intense golden yellow crossed by amber reflections, witnesses of the structure of Pinot Noir.
Perlage: very fine, dense and persistent, a sign of a long maturation on the yeasts.
Bouquet: broad, deep and complex. It opens with hints of ripe red fruits, including cherry in alcohol and blackberry, followed by notes of candied orange peel, chestnut honey and gingerbread. Then emerge more evolved nuances of blond tobacco, toasted hazelnut and a hint of licorice, all supported by a chalky minerality typical of the Côte des Blancs, where Perrier-Jouët owns part of its vineyards.
Taste: broad, powerful but perfectly balanced. The attack is enveloping and structured, with a very fine tannic texture that recalls the nobility of Pinot Noir. The citrus freshness accompanies the development of the taste, while the creaminess of the perlage gives harmony to the progression. Long, salty and slightly smoky finish, with a persistence on aromas of dried fruit and blackcurrant jam.

THE COMPANY
Two centuries of traditions are a precious baggage, represented by a true craftsmanship savoir-faire that is passed on from generation to generation since 1811. It is precisely on this date that the spouses Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët founded the Maison Perrier-Jouët , which counts today 65 hectares of vines, almost totally classified at the top of the Grand Cru scale. As a pioneer in traceability and counterfeiting, Maison Perrier-Jouët was the first winery to make the vintage of its millesimate bottles. Among the rows, careful and forward-looking choices are all about obtaining valuable and excellent grapes, and the fruits harvested in the five major cruces of what is called the "magical champagne triangle" - composed of Cramant, Avize, Mailly, Aÿ and Dizy - they are present in all those who are the cuvée of the maison.
