Pinot Gris by Livio Felluga is a wine that comes from a noble vine that derives from a bud mutation of Pinot Noir and, preferring cool climates, finds its ideal habitat in the hills. The vinification gives the wine finesse and elegance, maintaining the faint coppery reflections that unmistakably characterize its color. It is certainly the best-known Friulian wine in the world. Fine and intense bouquet with hints of apricot and white peach fused with notes of orange peel. Aromas of fresh spices and sweet notes such as lemon cream and wildflower honey. When tasted, it has a good structure, with fresh progression, expressing sensations of yellow melon pulp, papaya, Golden apple, apricot and sage. It closes with a persistent, savory finish with citrus hints.
