'Casòn Bianco' by Alois Lageder is centered on the characteristics of the viognier which here develops a remarkable typicality. The vineyards, with vines aged between 20 and 60 years, are those of Casòn Hirschprunn in Magrè, they are in organic and biodynamic viticulture. Spontaneous fermentation in barriques, where it then ages on the lees for 11 months, followed by further aging in wooden barrels. Intensely aromatic, fruity wine with an accent on candied fruit and exotic spices blended with vanilla. Full body and well structured with toasted aromas, savory and with excellent freshness. Good aromatic persistence. It goes easily with any meal, from fish, elaborate and tasty, to shellfish, white meat and poultry.
