Single Malt Scotch Whisky 'Tormore' 1994 Connoisseurs Choice 27 Years (700 ml. box) - Gordon & Macphail

Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Tormore' Connoisseurs Choice 1994 by Gordon & Macphail was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2022. Aged 27 YO in ex-Sherry casks. Near the town of Ballindalloch in the heart of Speyside, the Tormore distillery was built quite recently (1960). Whiskey in which vanilla aromas combine with subtle notes of cooked apple and sultanas. Fresh citrus peel emerges next, leaving room for hints of brown sugar and oak. On the palate there are sweet and velvety notes of apple pie followed by orange peel. Warm spices, milk chocolate and charred oak. Final with a persistent sweetness that leaves room for notes of black pepper. A whiskey for connoisseurs. Cask strength 57.2° vol.
