Scotch Whisky Single Cask Peated 'Laphroaig' 16 Years 2005 (700 ml. metal case) Duncan Taylor

Duncan Taylor's Peated Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 'Laphroaig' 2005 16 Years is part of the 'Single Cask' line, i.e. obtained from a single barrel, synonymous with very high quality. It was produced at Islay's legendary Laphroaig Distillery, renowned for its peaty whiskeys. Distilled in 2005 and aged in a single peated barrel for 16 years, it was released in 2021 as Cask Strenght whiskey at 53.7%, without cold filtration or coloring. Fantastic whiskey with notes of charcoal, barley and spicy citrus. On the palate it results burning embers with plenty of iodine, peaty and charred oak and hints of plum and citrus peel. Finish of warm, earthy pepper, vegetable peat and rich and spicy malt. Only 129 bottles produced. For connoisseurs and collectors.
