Spumante Brut Classic Cuvée by Hoffmann & Rathbone is produced in Southern England, in Sussex overlooking the English Channel. Family-run winery that uses traditional methods but with an eye always turned to the future. The vineyards benefit from a moderate climate, thanks also to the influence of sea breezes. Manual harvest and delicate pressing. Fermentation in steel and a part in wood, the latter then added to the final must for a more marked structure. Refines in bottle for 66 months. Well-balanced and inviting hints of sweet almonds, hazelnuts, fish and raspberries; in the mouth a balanced freshness accompanied by softness and finesse with hints of apple and fruit nectar, for an interesting drink. A "Champagne" from across the Channel.
