Monferrato Rosso 'La Mandorla di Mauro' by Luigi Spertino is a powerful and highly concentrated red wine that is only produced in some years, instead of the historic Barbera d'Asti Vigna La Mandorla. The overripe grapes come from the vineyard located on the La Mandorla hill of the same name at around 230 meters above sea level where there are vines with vines over 60 years old. On the nose the aromas are strong with notes of ripe red fruit, flowers and spices. On the palate it is powerful and highly concentrated, but with a fresh streak that gives perfect balance. Long and intense finish.
