Barbaresco 'Martinenga' by Marchesi di Gresy is made in the Cisa Asinari estates where a fine Nebbiolo of rare complexity and elegance is obtained. The Additional Geographic Mention 'Martinenga' is one of the most suitable and is located in the heart of the municipality of Barbaresco, on the border with the famous crus of Asili and Rabaja. It is a complex and very intense red wine, aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels with a short passage in barrique. Notes of wild berries stand out combined with intense spicy nuances and mineral puffs. On the palate it is fresh and majestic, rich and balanced, with dense but elegant tannins.
