Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 'Tenuta Greppo' 2016 (750 ml.) Biondi Santi

Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2016 by Biondi Santi represents an icon of winemaking tradition. Produced exclusively with a selection of grapes from the property's vineyards, including the oldest. Aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels. Structure and grace, tension and fragrance where dark cherries and dried violets find depth in infinite balsamic sensations and scents of Mediterranean scrub, menthol, leather and flint. On the palate, the firm structure with young tannins, still pleasantly lively, and a vibrant freshness portend a vintage destined for a very long life. The finish is persistent and seductive with hints of dried herbs surrounded by savory, almost iodine sensations. Longevity: 20-40 years.
