Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 'Tenuta Greppo' 2017 (750 ml.) Biondi Santi

Brunello di Montalcino 2017 by Biondi Santi represents an icon of winemaking tradition. Coming from the vineyards of the historic family estate from the age of 15 to 30 years. A meeting between fragrant fruity notes and balsamic spices, it is initially rather shy, gradually revealing the breadth and depth of its aromatic elegance. Among the red berries, notes of red cherry stand out, accompanied by intriguing hints of white pepper, dried tobacco leaves, liquorice root and citrus peel. On the palate its fruity heart is surprisingly fragrant and displays an enviable balance between finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish is savory, long and enveloping with light hints of thyme and rosemary. Longevity: 20-40 years.
