Bolgheri Rosso Superiore by Grattamacco is an iconic Tuscan wine from the Bolgheri area on the Tuscan coast and has a unique character. It comes from a 10-hectare vineyard located 100 meters above sea level. Aged 18 months in 1st and 2nd passage barriques followed by further refinement in the bottle. Big stature, elegant and intense, fruity hints. Juicy notes of black currants, cedar wood and wild strawberries stand out, mixed with delicate nuances of rosemary and pepper. Wonderfully balanced and harmonious, with a silky soft and complex structure. This historic label is a perfect union between the Cabernet and Merlot varieties, typical of this area, and Sangiovese, a rarity in Bolgheri.
