Toscana Rosso IGT 'Mormoreto' 2016 (750 ml.) - Frescobaldi

Toscana Rosso 'Mormoreto' by Frescobaldi is the great wine of Castello di Nipozzano, born from the homonymous vineyard planted in 1976. A Supertuscan that was created with the 1983 harvest and which has since been produced only in the most favorable years (in the 1984 harvests , 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002 was not produced). The cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot vines, planted 150 years ago, have found over time an ideal combination with the territory, enhancing its unique character. The Mormoreto Cru is left to mature for about 24 months in first and second passage barriques and the result is a wine with a vibrant, opulent, deep and harmonious character. Since 2013 a small amount of Sangiovese has further emphasized its elegance.

Frescobaldi

frescobaldi_870x360.jpg

Nestled in the beautiful Tuscan lands, where time seems to have stopped to celebrate the beauty of nature and the art of winemaking, the Frescobaldi winery tells a story that spans generations. It is one of the oldest wine families in Italy, with roots that sink into a past rich in tradition and innovation. With a presence that embraces the most prestigious denominations of Tuscany, such as the DOCG Chianti, Brunello and Bolgheri, Frescobaldi stands out for a modern approach that, however, never forgets to respect the history and terroir that surrounds it.

The Frescobaldi estates are a mosaic of winemaking excellence, where each vineyard is cared for with dedication and love for the land. Here, under the warm Tuscan sun, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are born, each an expression of a unique territory and an unparalleled savoir-faire. Frescobaldi's production philosophy is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, where ancient wisdom blends with the most modern winemaking techniques to create wines with a distinctive and unmistakable character.

Among the labels that make up Frescobaldi's prestigious portfolio, Nipozzano and CastelGiocondo stand out, two wines that embody the essence of Tuscany. Nipozzano, with its enveloping structure and intense aromas, is the perfect companion for those who wish to explore the depth of Tuscan wines. CastelGiocondo, on the other hand, is a Brunello di Montalcino with a refined and complex character, capable of recounting, sip after sip, the magic of a legendary territory.

Let yourself be won over by the elegance and mastery of Frescobaldi wines, available on Vino45. An invitation to discover a world where history, innovation and passion for wine intertwine in an unparalleled sensory experience.
