Ribolla Gialla Reserve by Gravner, an iconic orange wine from Venezia Giulia, a fresh, savoury and mineral wine with a rich and surprising bouquet. Made from pure Ribolla Gialla grapes, the harvest of which ends with the botrytized grapes. This is followed by a long maceration in buried Georgian amphorae, with indigenous yeasts and without temperature control. After racking and pressing, it returns to the amphorae for another 5 months before starting to age in large oak barrels, where it remains for 6 years. Bottled without clarification and filtration, it rests for a further 7 years in the bottle. A layered bouquet with notes of aromatic herbs, resin, beeswax, candied fruit, apricot, peach and withered flowers. When tasted, it is well structured, rich, fresh, intense, mineral and complex.
