Prélude ‘Grands Crus’ cuvée is made from a blend of 50 % Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, which Taittinger has selected only from the ‘Grands Crus’ vineyards; the highest rated vineyards in the Champagne region. Only the first pressings are used, resulting in a perfect balance between the vibrant minerality of the Chardonnay and the strength and structure of the Pinot Noir. It matures for 5 years in the cellars, and retains a distinct freshness, combining sophistication and complexity. Its minerality opens up the nose, before quickly becoming botanical and blossoming out into a fragrance of elderflower mixed with spicy notes of cinnamon. The taste is vibrant and forthright, dominated by hints of fresh citrus fruit. Superb balance between freshness and an aromatic character.

Taittinger
In the heart of the prestigious Champagne region in France, the Maison Taittinger stands elegantly, a jewel of history and winemaking refinement. Founded on solid family traditions, Taittinger is one of the few houses still led by the founding family, a detail that is reflected in every single bottle produced. Here, tradition marries innovation, giving the world Champagne of extraordinary elegance and finesse.
The terroir of Champagne, characterized by chalky soils and a unique climate, provides the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the three main grapes that give life to these prestigious wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Among these, Chardonnay occupies a place of honor, giving Taittinger wines an unmistakable freshness and lightness, distinctive notes that are found in every glass.
Among the gems of the Taittinger production, the Comtes de Champagne stands majestically. This cuvée, made exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from the best Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, is the symbol of the purest elegance, with notes of citrus, white flowers and a minerality that evokes the land from which it comes. Every sip is a journey between tradition and modernity, a sensory experience that tells the story of a timeless territory.
Let yourself be seduced by the unmistakable charm of Taittinger wines on Vino45: an invitation to discover the quintessence of Champagne, where the past meets the present in a toast of elegance and style.
