Bolgheri DOC 'Cont'Ugo' by Antinori is made in the Guado al Tasso Estate is located in the small and prestigious DOC of Bolgheri, on the coast of Alta Maremma, about a hundred kilometers south-west of Florence, in the splendid plain surrounded by hills known as the "Bolgheri amphitheater". The careful selection of Merlot grapes vinified in steel and then left to mature for about a year in barrique create a wine characterized by a more vertical setting than usual, with a slight acidic finish, and a harmonious and complex aroma.

'Ruit Hora' by Caccia al Piano 1868 has been one of the most brilliant examples of Bolgheri for more than a decade. Harmonious and balanced, this red is capable of playing its cards on particularly elegant and graceful notes. This cuvee of 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 5% Syrah is vinified in steel, then aged in barrique for a period of 18 months followed by an aging of 6 months in the bottle. 'Sapaio' by Podere Sapaio is an excellent Bolgheri Rosso Superiore with great evolutionary potential that acquires personality over time. The name derives from the name of an ancient Tuscan vine, the Sapaia. From Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, 20% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, it makes 18 months of barrique and 1 year of glass before being put on the market. Excellent with land menu.
