Pinotage Blanc by Aaldering Vineyards & Wines is made in the South African region of Stellenbosch, one of the most suitable areas in the country. Pinotage is the native South African grape par excellence, it is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, in this label it is vinified in white. The must remains in contact with the skins for 15 minutes. at most, giving the wine a slightly coppery color and a delicate 'blush'. Fermentation is done with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks to preserve the original aromas and freshness. The wine rests on the yeasts for 5 months with pumping over done twice a week for the first two months. White with fruity scents with notes of peach and banana, good structure and body, soft finish. Annual production 3,000 bottles.

THE COMPANY
Aaldering Vineyards & Wines, founded in 2004 by the Dutch couple Marianne and Fons Aaldering, is located in Stellenbosch, one of the wine-growing areas of excellence, in the Cape Winelands district, Western Cape province, immersed in the peace and tranquility of the vineyards that surround it and just 45 km from the city of Cape Town. The terroir is that of the Devon Valley, in particular the areas of Hutton (characterised by soil rich in granite, reddish-brown in color due to the presence of iron oxide hydrate) and Clovelly (soil similar to that of Hutton but more clayey) . This area is well known for the quality of red wines produced from grape varieties: Pinotage, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the same ones grown by the winery. The wines are produced with great care and passion, with the assistance of a reliable and devoted staff. Elements of both organic and biodynamic agriculture are used, preferring organic products and trying to minimize chemical ones as much as possible, making the most of what nature has to offer.
