'Rive di Refrontolo' Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore by De Stefani represents the essence of Prosecco in a refined and elegant version. It was born in the Colvendrame farm located on the hills of Refrontolo, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Prosecco DOCG. Colvendrame is the name of the hilly area in which these vineyards are located, which enjoy a very favorable exposure and climate. Rive means slope, which represents the best position of the vineyard. Fragrance, freshness and finesse are combined in a very pure expression. On the palate it is completely dry and natural, showing its maximum integral identity.
Attention to the environment and winemaking tradition form the backbone of the De Stefani winery in Fossalta di Piave, winemakers for four generations, in the heart of the Veneto region. The farm is located in the center of a hilly area where making wine is not only history but also art. And if there is a winery in which the word "sustainability" has a value, this is De Stefani: all the vineyards are located inside the Podere Colvendrame, three hundred meters above sea level, in the heart of the production of the controlled denomination of origin wines "Colli di Conegliano" and "Prosecco di Conegliano and Valdobbiadene". Sustainability, therefore, in the most significant interpretation of "respect for the environment": De Stefani has abolished pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers and insecticides and the winemaking processes are carried out without the use of added sulphites or preservatives. The company is also perfectly autonomous from an energy point of view, self-producing the electricity it needs by means of solar panels. Knowledge, tradition and love for the environment: the three essential ingredients for the wineries of the future, in a company of the present.
