Valdarno di Sopra DOC Riserva 'Boggina C' 2021 (750 ml.) Petrolo

'Bòggina C' Riserva by Petrolo is the 'Grand-Cru' of Sangiovese, an organic red wine of great class and depth, born from old vines planted in 1951-52 and grown in the heart of the Val d'Arno. Pure Sangiovese, it comes from the best vineyards and is aged for 16/18 months in 22 hl barrels and 7 hl tonneaux of rigorously selected French oak. Complex and layered aromas, fruity notes, enriched by nuances of withered flowers, spices and touches of lavender and tobacco. Elegant and refined sip, deep, full-bodied, austere and material texture, thanks to the excellent integration of tannins in the general structure. A red with a multifaceted and complex soul, both on the nose and in the mouth, for an extraordinary drink. Only 6,500 bottles produced.
