Verona Rosso IGT 'CampoFiorin' by Masi is a red wine full-bodied and soft, an expression of the unmistakable style of the winery. It is made from grapes Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, grown in the limestone soils of Valpolicella. The technique of double fermentation involves the addition of partially dried grapes, which give the wine greater structure, complexity, and softness. It ages for 18 months in Slavonian and Allier oak barrels, followed by a long resting period in the bottle. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry, plum, sweet spices, and cocoa stand out. On the palate, it is velvety, harmonious, and persistent, with smooth tannins and a enveloping finish. Ideal with baked pasta, meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses, it is a perfect example of Supervenetian, a bridge between classic style and innovation.

THE COMPANY

Veneto is one of the most vocated regions from a wine point of view throughout Italy. A varied and multifaceted territory, always in ferment, with emerging production realities alongside historic and prestigious names. Among the latter, one cannot fail to mention the winery Masi, a family business for seven generations that has belonged to the Boscaini family since the end of the 18th century, but which today represents one of the most important and authoritative Italian wine brands in the world.
With extensive vineyards both in Italy and Argentina, where the Tupungato line gives voice to the terroir of Mendoza, the heart of the company, with the winery and the management center, remains firmly anchored to Valpolicella, the place where the entire winemaking project began. Currently managed by a well-coordinated technical group gathered in a Board of Directors chaired by Sandro Boscaini, the company, tied to the millenary Venetian civilization, has its roots in a historic heritage made up of exceptional terroirs and great native grapes.
Additionally, combining the oldest traditions with the most modern technology, the winery Masi is constantly active in research and experimentation, to the point that it has contributed to rewriting the history of drying for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, the symbolic wine of the territory, and has also been a forerunner in recovering and using ancient Veronese grape varieties that were almost extinct, such as Oseleta. It is precisely from the native grapes of these territories, processed according to traditional winemaking techniques, that unique, majestic, and famous wines in the world are born, such as Amarone itself, of which Masi produces probably the most qualified and extensive range currently available on the international market, with the “Mazzano” and “Costasera” Reserve always at the top of Italian and international sector guides.
