Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2015 by Biondi Santi represents an icon of winemaking tradition. Truly majestic wine. On the nose the fruit immediately reveals itself to be intense and compact with dark cherry, pomegranate and blood orange, so typical in Biondi-Santi wines, while the notes of Mediterranean scrub release hints of thyme, rosemary and sage. At a later stage, floral sensations are added, of red roses and violets, and then of undergrowth. In the mouth, the wine, seductive and full of charm, spreads over the palate with caressing sweetness, while the pleasantly scratchy tannins highlight its remarkable structure and contribute to creating a beautiful sensation of freshness that cleanses the palate, leading us towards a savory and very long. Longevity: 20-40 years.
