Picolit by Livio Felluga is a highly prestigious meditation wine. It is the noblest wine of Friuli whose peculiarity is given by the vine, which with a partial fertilization of the flower, determines the growth of very few and very concentrated grapes for each bunch. The healthy and perfectly ripe grapes are harvested by hand according to maturity, in small boxes, to preserve the integrity of the berry. Fermentation on the lees in small French oak barrels lasts a few months, to increase flavor, creaminess and aging potential. Complex wine, with an antique gold color, it harmonizes sweet and sour sensations, releasing an enveloping scent of candied fruit, vanilla and wild flowers. Also try it with savory cheeses, foie gras or dry pastries.
