Champagne 'Grand Vintage Rose' 2015 (750 ml. boxed) - Moet & Chandon

Champagne Brut Millesimé Rosé 'Grand Vintage' by Moët & Chandon is one of the most prestigious and important expressions of the maison. This 2015 vintage is unique and authentic, of great value. It is produced only in the Millesimato version, and comes from a selection of the three typical local vines: Pinot Noir in greater percentage, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The refinement is very long and lasts almost 7 years, giving it perfect expressive maturity and an aromatic complement of great value. The flavor is direct and juicy, a concentrate of elegance and freshness, made even more noble by a perlage of rare elegance. Extraordinary taste, majestic style and bouquet of distinct elegance.

It all began in 1743, when Claude Moët founded a Maison in his own name after a long experience first as a vigneron and later as a cellar master. It did so by starting to distribute its wines in Paris outside the Champagne region in an era that coincided with the growth in demand for sparkling wine: success was immediate, so much so that in a short time Moët Champagne became the most appreciated one at the court of King of France and at the end of the 18th century it was exported throughout Europe and the United States of America. The growth continued with his nephew Jean Remy, who purchased new land, expanded the cellars, and built a real commercial network that reached famous clients such as Thomas Jefferson and Napoleon Bonaparte. Subsequently Remy will leave the leadership of Moët to his son Victor and son-in-law Pierre Gabriel Chandon, from whom the current name of the Maison, Moët & Chandon Champagne, derives.
