Always a family-run business, it is since 1763 that the Cattier family, in the small village of Chigny-les-Roses, located between Reims and Epernay, cultivates their own vineyards, obtaining grapes that give precious and top-level Champagne. With an annual production that reaches one million bottles, which are exported to over seventy different countries around the world, the maison currently owns about thirty hectares of vineyards, all classified as Premier Cru. Between the rows, the agronomic practices adopted are respectful of the environment and ecosystem, while the cellar rooms, buried for over thirty meters, guarantee the ideal conditions for aging Champagne. Armand de Brignac is always an assembly of three vintages. In this Cuvée de Prestige, the scrupulous selection of the grapes and the best portions of the cuvée guarantees the fruity character of the wine, a balanced softness and acidity. The same attention to detail is found in the cellar: a bottle of Armand de Brignac passes through the hands of no more than 18 highly qualified people. Each bottle is coated in metal and finished by polishing and hand applying French pewter labels. Each employee can make a maximum of twenty bottles per hour and no two copies are alike.
