Champagne Brut 'Cuvée Saint-Petersbourg' by Veuve Clicquot has been created to commemorate the initiative of Madame Clicquot who was already exporting her prestigious bottles to Russia in the early nineteenth century. The cuvée comes from a selection of grapes from 50-60 parcels, Grand Cru or Premier Cru, with a predominance of Pinot Noir, which gives structure and expressive depth, complemented by Chardonnay and Meunier. At the end of the first fermentation, a percentage of 30-45% of reserve wines is added which give the blend maturity and complexity. The second fermentation, 4 or 5 years old, takes place in the bottle. Champagne of great aromatic intensity and freshness, harmonious and rich, with a long and deep sip, which anticipates a finish of lively freshness.
