Chardonnay is a white, international berry variety grown in all the wine-growing areas of the world. It is also used and above all for the production of quality classic sparkling wines in Italy and in the world (Franciacorta in Italy first and Champagne in France, to name just two). The chardonnay and merlot are among the so-called "international" French vines, the most cultivated ones in every part of the world, also thanks to their high adaptability.
