The 'Autumn Poetry Box' by Agrimontana is a gift box that contains 16 Marrons Glacés and 4 Violette. Fresh hand picked violet flowers, selected one by one, moistened with petal per petal to crystallize sugar like dewdrops. Violets are carefully selected and hand-picked in the hills of Arma di Taggia. The Marroni are a unique treasure coming exclusively from the untreated chestnuts of the Val di Susa. White and crunchy pulp with a delicate flavor. Ellipsoidal shape, medium-large size, with a surface almost devoid of grooves. The Marrons Glacés Gift Box of 16 pieces by Agrimontana contains only chestnuts from Italian chestnut groves in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines. They are processed from fresh without the use of sulfur dioxide according to a procedure called "curing". Washed with their skin, the best aromatic notes mature and reach a right consistency. Then proceed with the steam peeling which is finished by hand. It ends with hot candying without forcing, with a veil of tulle that envelops the browns to protect them. The only addition, besides the cane sugar, is the Bourbon vanilla in berries in the candying phase.
