Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Sauvignon 2023 (750 ml.) - Hofstatter

Sauvignon by Hofstätter stands out for its typicality, for a very evident aromatic component both in aromas and taste. The color is lively, light yellow, with slight greenish reflections. On the nose, the aromas are reminiscent of gooseberries and blackcurrants, a slight hint of sambuca and a light touch of nettle and flint. On the palate it is lively, has a fresh character with a fine and refreshing well-balanced acidity. The fruity and floral aromas are also repeated on the palate and give the wine its true character.

Hofstätter is, perhaps, the largest private winery in South Tyrol. A legendary wine cellar, for some synonymous South Tyrol and expressive purity, the one founded in 1907 by Josef Hofstätter has actually always been able to combine technique and passion, big numbers and quality consistency, conducted with a pragmatism and an iron logic combining commercial interest and respect for the territory. A wine cellar with a workforce of some 50 hectares of land on which are cultivated all the most typical varieties of the region. In fact, thanks to the multiplicity of exposures, are excellent conditions for growth and maturation both white grapes that red grapes. Gewürztraminer from the pinot blanc, pinot black, the Lagrein and the slave there is variety which, once vinified, can not be considered as an example of absolute regional excellence. A single work and meticulous, now managed by the fourth generation-great-grandson of founder Martin Foradori Hofstätter.
