The 'Nekaj' by Damijan Podversic is made from pure Friulano grapes, grown on Monte Calvario. Organic viticulture and full ripening of the grapes, followed by 2-3 months of skin maceration in truncated-conical oak tanks, spontaneous fermentation, and no filtration before bottling. It is an iconic, deep, and multifaceted white wine. Golden color with orange reflections. Very wide bouquet, hints of orange peel, clarified butter, medicinal herbs, and quince. Rich, velvety taste, with a balance between fruit sweetness and a salty finish. Excellent.
