Riesling 'Les Princes Abbés' by Domaine Schlumberger comes from the sun-drenched steep slopes of Guebwiller, in the heart of Alsace, where viticulture is practiced according to the principles of sustainable farming and biodiversity preservation. The vines, averaging over 30 years of age, grow on sandy and schistose soils between 250 and 390 meters a.s.l., which impart finesse and minerality. Grapes are hand-harvested, allowing careful bunch selection, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 6 months on fine lees, enhancing its structure and aromatic depth. The bouquet reveals citrus fruits, white peach, white flowers, and flinty notes. On the palate, it is linear, vibrant, and saline, with a sharp, persistent finish. Excellent with fish, shellfish, sushi, and spicy Asian cuisine.

Domaine Schlumberger
In the heart of Alsace, among the sunny slopes of Guebwiller, the excellence signed by Domaines Schlumberger is born, a house that since 1810 embodies tradition, territory, and innovation. With over 140 hectares of owned vineyards, more than half of which are classified as Grand Cru, Domaines Schlumberger is one of the few remaining family-run estates that cultivate and vinify exclusively their own grapes, with a meticulous care for every production phase.
Their Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Muscat are authentic expressions of the Alsatian terroir: refined, complex, mineral, and extraordinarily long-lived. Each sip tells the identity of a unique territory, where the vines climb steep terraced slopes, exposed to the south and cultivated according to sustainable practices. Wines that captivate with purity and character, awarded by the most authoritative international guides.
On Vino45, you will find a curated selection of the best wines signed by Domaines Schlumberger, perfect for those seeking authenticity and prestige in their glass. From the powerful Riesling Grand Cru “Kitterlé” to the seductive Gewürztraminer “Les Princes Abbés,” each bottle is a sensory journey into the heart of the most authentic Alsace.
