Barbaresco DOCG 'Gallina' 2021 by Ceretto is born in the famous cru Gallina di Neive, recently acquired, with which Ceretto enriches its collection of Barbaresco. From the very first harvest, this vineyard has shown an extraordinary expressive potential, so much so that it was presented immediately on the market. The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo, grown using organic methods, and they ferment in steel with long maceration, followed by 24 months in large oak barrels. The bouquet is elegant and layered, with floral notes, wild red fruits, underbrush, and light spices. On the palate, it is rich, structured but balanced, with chewy and refined tannins. A wine of great depth and territorial identity, which fully reflects the vision of the Ceretto family. Perfect with roasts, braised dishes, mushroom dishes, and aged cheeses.
