Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

The red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a DOC wine whose production is allowed in the provinces of Chieti, L'Aquila, Pescara and Teramo and comes from the vine named Montepulciano. It is not to be confused with the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano produced in Tuscany and coming from another autochthonous vine. In 2007 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo proved to be the first Italian wine (of the DOC category) for production.

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 'Centovie' by Umani Ronchi is a rec wine that knows how to combine strength, character and elegance. It comes from the vine of the same name, peculiar and precious. Aged, partly in large wood and partly in small wood, for 12-14 months, it immediately reveals itself as broad and rich. Fruity hints of black cherries, notes of sweet spices and licorice, complex taste, full-bodied and pleasant to drink. Able to leave a significant trace in the Abruzzo wine history.

'Cumaro' by Umani Ronchi is a tribute to Monte Conero, from the Greek 'komaros', which means strawberry tree, an evergreen shrub very common in its woods. This 100% Montepulciano Riserva is an intense and complex red wine, one of the most important wines in the history of the Umani Ronchi company and one of the founders of fine wines in the Conero area. Ripe fruity plum, black currant and morello cherry on a spicy background of black pepper, vanilla and tobacco. It is soft and enveloping to the taste, with well-smoothed tannins and a pleasant cocoa finish.

'Campo San Giorgio' by Umani Ronchi is a Conero Riserva which takes its name from the parcel of the vineyard located in the municipality of Osimo, which has been able to stand out over the years for its extraordinary quality. Aging for 12 months in small wooden barrels; further 6 months of maturation in large barrels precedes bottling and the last 8-10 months rest before release. Perfume is markedly fruity in its memories of cherry and plum, set against a spicy background of licorice and vanilla. Intense, dense, enveloping taste with balanced and velvety tannins. Great.

Don Luigi Reserve by Di Majo Norante, a champion of the Molise, obtained from the selection of the best and most mature grapes of Montepulciano and Aglianico. A dark wine like ink and a rich, intense structure of great harmony and skillfully matured in small oak barrels gives the best of the game and seasoned cheeses. Award-winning
