The Barolo 'Gavarini Chiniera' by Elio Grasso is an elegant red wine with remarkable aromatic intensity, long-lived and complex. It is made from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards around 35 years old, spanning about twenty hectares, divided into various parcels, cultivated in beautiful hilly exposures and vinified separately to enhance the qualities of each terroir. The wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months and completes its aging with 10 months in the bottle. It is a traditional Barolo that highlights the extraordinary qualities of the vineyards in Monforte d’Alba. Elegant aromas of dried rose petals, violet, delicately spicy notes, on a background of small red berries. It is a great red for aging, with a longevity of about 20 years.
