Brunello di Montalcino by Lisini is made from the vineyards located near the hamlet of Sant’Angelo in Colle, in the southern area of Montalcino, with a microclimate that is affected by the beneficial effect of the sea currents of the Maremma coast. Manual harvest with selection in the vineyard of the single bunches and maturation of 42 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 6/8 months in the bottle. Intense red wine, elegant, complex and of great longevity, a guarantee not only of high quality, but also of typicality and loyalty to the territory. Aromas of violet, small red berries, hints of aromatic herbs and undergrowth, spicy nuances and noble woods. Intense and structured, with already evolved tannins, ample and well-balanced aromas with a pleasant freshness.

It is very difficult to fix the date of birth of Azienda Agricola Lisini, in fact it must date back to the sixteenth century to find the first traces of it in the family documents. Since then, throughout several generations, the business and ownership of the company have been handed down from father to son, with the sole exception, at the end of the 19th century, of Alessandro Lisini who does not dedicate his life to agriculture, but to study and politics. His son Lodovico, on the other hand, does not follow in his father's footsteps and returns to nature giving new impetus to the production of Brunello.
The throbbing heart of the company, wineries and offices, is located 8 kilometers from the center of Montalcino, in the Sant’Angelo in Colle district. The ancient farm, where the company is based, is surrounded by 154 hectares of land, 20 of which are covered with vineyards; the eocene soil, fresh and porous, the fresh sea breezes, which through the nearby maremma come to make the climate mild, the absolute absence of fog create the ideal environmental conditions for the production of Sangiovese Grosso, the only vine present in the vineyards, which gives us this wonderful wine that is the Brunello di Montalcino signed Lisini.
