Champagne AOC Brut 'Grand Brut' (750 ml. packaged) Perrier-Jouet

Champagne Grand Brut by Perrier-Jouët is an elegant and harmonious cuvée, an expression of the floral and refined style of the Maison. The blend consists of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Chardonnay, selected from over fifty crus of Champagne. The vinification takes place using the méthode champenoise, with careful pressing of the grapes and fermentation at controlled temperature. This is followed by a maturation period of about 36 months on the lees, which imparts creaminess and aromatic complexity. On the nose, it opens with notes of white flowers, citrus, yellow-fleshed fruit, and a hint of toasting, while on the palate it is balanced, fresh, and persistent, with a fine and lively perlage. A Grand Brut versatile and sophisticated, perfect for aperitif or paired with delicate fish dishes, shellfish, or white meats. A perfect synthesis of the Perrier-Jouët style.

Color: light golden yellow with greenish reflections, clear and bright.

Perlage: fine and continuous, a sign of long aging on the lees and careful vinification according to the traditional Champagne methods.

Bouquet: elegant and airy, with a delicate floral profile dominated by white flowers such as acacia and hawthorn, intertwined with notes of green apple, pear, and citrus. Following are sweeter hints of brioche, fresh almond, and a touch of light honey, which provide roundness without compromising the overall freshness.

Taste: balanced and lively structure. The attack is fresh, driven by well-integrated acidity that supports the fruity notes perceived on the nose. The bubble is creamy, well blended into the texture of the wine. The finish is clean and persistent, with hints of white-fleshed fruit and a subtle mineral note that invites the next sip.
