Champagne Extra Brut 'Les Plates Pierres' by Maurice Grumier comes from the homonymous vineyard plot cultivated for many generations by the Grumier family. The vineyard lies on calcareous and clayey soil and was completely replanted in 1990-91. Cultivated in a biodynamic way, it brings to light a powerful and intense, spicy champagne, which in recent years has become increasingly complex and precise. Cuvée of 60% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir, 9 years on the lees, this Blanc de Noirs fully expresses the experience of 4 generations of winemakers. Very complex champagne, with aromas of yellow fruits and with a distinctly chalky minerality, with a powerful palate, very well structured, dense, and with an excellently integrated acidity, balanced with energy and aromatic tension.
