Trentino DOC Muller Thurgau 2021 (750 ml.) - Cembra

Müller Thurgau by Cembra Cantina di Montagna is an oenological pearl and an identifying variety of the Cembra Valley. It embodies all the elegance and strength of the territory and is cultivated up to 900 m above sea level. This high-altitude viticulture is only made possible thanks to the heroic dedication and team spirit of the 300 suppliers of Cembra Cantina di Montagna. The inspiration for this Müller Thurgau comes from the historic Vigna delle Forche vineyard, symbol and roof of heroic viticulture in the Cembra Valley. Here the mountain emerges with every sip. It releases intense aromas with strong floral, citrus and exotic fruit notes. When tasted it outlines an unrivaled depth and verticality, with a marked flavor and freshness.

Cembra is located at 700 m above sea level: only two wineries in Italy are located higher. Born in 1952, through the courageous initiative of some winemakers who, over time and on the wave of enthusiasm, others were added until today, a number of around 300. It has always represented heroic viticulture: manual processing of approximately 900-1,000 hours per hectare and an average cultivation of two, maximum three hectares per farmer; all this in Trentino, on the impervious and typical terraces of the Cembra Valley. Valley set in the most important European porphyry basin, also known as the red gold of the valley dwellers, a rock that gives these high-altitude wines, both still and sparkling, three inimitable characteristics: extraordinary flavour, minerality and persistence. A triumph of tastes and aromas that reveal the wonders of this hidden world which still today preserves the best of the tradition and typical values of the Cembra Valley.
