The Manzoni Bianco from Vignaiolo Fanti is an organic wine made from the grapes of the homonymous vine in the vineyards called Cros, Vignali, and Rover. It is named after the researcher who created it in the 1930s (Prof. Manzoni), crossing Riesling (mother) with Pinot Bianco (father). From vines that are 20-26 years old, it is hand-harvested and vinified with whole grape pressing and a brief contact with the skins. It matures slowly on its own lees for at least 10 months and continues to refine in the bottle. It is a wine in evolution. Floral, spicy with Alsatian aromatic notes, broad and round on the palate, supported by a dense structure and a freshness derived from a compact and citrusy acidity that makes it a very long-lived wine.

Vignaiolo Fanti
In the heart of Trentino, where tradition meets passion for wine, the story of Vignaiolo Fanti begins. It all started in a 17th-century farmhouse in the historic center of the village, where Giuseppe Fanti launched his winemaking business. With just a few hectares of land and cellars carved out within his home, he laid the foundations for a project that continues to thrill those seeking authenticity in their glass.
But it is with his son Alessandro that the family philosophy takes a decisive turn. After studying at the Agricultural Institute of San Michele all’Adige, Alessandro chooses to enhance every single resource of the company, transforming the limited scale into a strategic advantage. In the vineyard, he skillfully recovers ancient agronomic practices, essential for improving grape quality, while fully respecting the rhythms of nature and the biodiversity of the territory.
In the cellar, art becomes science and patience. The white grapes of Incrocio Manzoni, Nosiola, and Chardonnay, along with the red grapes of Teroldego, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, are vinified with care and allowed to age slowly, until they reach their maximum aromatic and structural expression. The result? Lively, coherent, fragrant, fresh wines rich in personality.
Vino45 is proud to offer in its catalog the labels signed by Vignaiolo Fanti, to provide connoisseurs and enthusiasts with bottles that can tell the essence of Trentino. Every sip is a journey between tradition and innovation, between land and wisdom, between past and future.
