Franciacorta Rosé Nature ’61 by Berlucchi is a wine made from only Pinot Noir grapes harvested in the third ten days of August from vineyards located in the municipalities of Corte Franca and Provaglio d'Iseo. An elegant sparkling wine aged for at least 60 months on its own yeasts. Bright salmon pink, it expresses ample and varied aromas of peaches, plums and dry pastries with notes of grapefruit, floral hints accompanying an intriguing spiciness of pink pepper. On the palate it is fine and graceful, with a long aromatic finish. Elegant and graceful, in excellent balance between freshness, flavor and creamy effervescence. Perfect with fish-based dishes.

Berlucchi
In 1955, the young oenologist Franco Ziliani approached Guido Berlucchi, a cultured gentleman and owner of a historic estate in Erbusco. Berlucchi was looking for an expert to refine his Pinot del Castello, but found a visionary partner. Ziliani, fascinated by Palazzo Lana and the centuries-old cellar, dared to propose something revolutionary: to produce a classic method sparkling wine in a land tied to still wines.
Guido agreed, and with his friend Giorgio Lanciani by their side, the three pioneers began the challenge. After some experiments, in 1961 the first 3,000 bottles of Pinot di Franciacorta were born, successfully uncorked the following year. It was the dawn of a new wine, destined to set a precedent.
In 1962, Ziliani signed another absolute first: the Max Rosé, the first Italian classic method rosé, created specifically for Massimiliano Imbert, a refined connoisseur of French rosé bubbles.
From that moment, growth was constant. Berlucchi played a decisive role in defining the Franciacorta style and affirming the denomination itself, which in 1995 obtained the DOCG, the highest certification of Italian quality. The winery became a reference model, bringing the name Franciacorta to the world as a synonym for elegance, innovation, and connection to the territory.
Today, Berlucchi continues to innovate while remaining true to its heritage, led by the Ziliani family with the same passion as in the beginning. Every bottle that is born at Palazzo Lana tells a story of vision, courage, and authenticity: the story of those who first believed that something extraordinary could also be created in Franciacorta.
