The Pinot Nero 'Vivendo' from Calyptra is a high-altitude wine, produced at 1,000 meters above sea level in the Cachapoal Valley region of Chile. The 25-year-old vines are located on approximately 3 hectares of volcanic soil. The unique geographical and climatic conditions allow for the development of clusters with particularly concentrated aromas. It is vinified only with indigenous yeasts, and it ages in used French oak barriques for 18 months, followed by 12 months in the bottle. It has notes of red fruit, sour cherries, raspberries, and berries. Balsamic and floral with hints of rosemary and juniper, along with pleasant spicy notes of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, it stands out for its savory quality and intensity combined with great freshness and minerality. An elegant and persistent finish.
