Produced with only wild myrtle berries hand-picked in the north-west of Sardinia, it is crafted according to a craft process passed down through three generations. After careful cold maceration in pure alcohol, the liqueur matures slowly, releasing intense aromas of Mediterranean scrub, with balsamic and fruity notes. Without artificial colors or flavors, it is a natural, sincere, identity-rich product. Rau

Since 1926, the Distilleria Rau has been the custodian of a heritage made of passion, identity, and a connection to its land. Born as a small laboratory for typical Sardinian liquors, today it is a modern company that continues to produce excellence while following tradition. The beating heart is the historic distillery, where masterpieces such as the famous Mirto RAU, the prized Gin GENESI, grappa, and bitters made from local raw materials, hand-picked and processed according to ancient family recipes, are born.

Alongside the distillery, Rau has created the Tenuta l’Ariosa: a winemaking project that tells the soul of North-Western Sardinia, among wind, Mediterranean scrub, and stone. Here, native vines give life to authentic, mineral, and intense wines, capable of expressing the wild and fascinating nature of the island.

Color: deep ruby red, compact and impenetrable, with violet hues that highlight its concentration and natural origin from wild berries.
