The Champagne Cuvée L'Oubliée Brut Nature by Roger Barnier is a 'Solera' cuvée also known as 'perpetual reserve' which involves adding the wines of the year to a blend of previous vintages. For the Oubliée, production began with the 2005 harvest using wines sourced from the Perrier, les Bas Jardin, and Clos Prieurs parcels. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir. The reserve red wines are kept in stainless steel while the Chardonnay is aged in barrels. Minimum of 24 months on the lees and at least 4 months resting after disgorgement. Characteristic and expressive bouquet that mixes dry pastry, dry straw, and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, beautiful fullness, softness, and freshness, but also aromatic personality. Authentic style.
