Argiolas
In the beating heart of Sardinia, where the sun embraces the hills and the wind carries the scent of the sea, the winery Argiolas stands tall, an undisputed symbol of Sardinian winemaking. Founded in a territory rich in history and ancient traditions, Argiolas is a beacon for those seeking authenticity and the beauty of the island's native grape varieties.
The production philosophy of Argiolas is in perfect harmony with nature: the adoption of sustainable practices in viticulture is a distinctive mark that reflects love and respect for the land. Here, the grapes thrive, caressed by the Mediterranean climate that gives them a unique character. Among them, Cannonau, Vermentino, and Carignano tell stories of land and sea, sun and wind.
Among the labels that proudly carry the name of Argiolas, Turriga stands out as a true masterpiece. This wine, an icon of Sardinian excellence, is an ode to complexity and depth, capable of enveloping the senses with its intense aromas and refined structure. It is a sensory journey that begins with notes of ripe red fruits, revealing spices and balsamic nuances, in a crescendo of emotions that culminate in a long and satisfying finish.
Let yourself be seduced by the magic of Argiolas wines, available at Vino45: an invitation to discover the wonders of an island that tells its story through its glasses.

THE WINE
The Nasco di Cagliari 'Iselis' by Argiolas is made from grapes grown in the vineyards located within the Iselis estate, in the municipality of Serdiana, near Cagliari. It is produced from pure Nasco grapes, hand-picked and selected. Cold maceration; soft pressing; natural decantation; controlled temperature fermentation, aging on fine lees for about 60 days. A small fraction of the must ferments and ages in small French oak barrels. It is characterized by an intense straw-yellow color. On the nose, it opens with a wide and harmonious bouquet, with hints of yellow flowers and tropical fruit, enriched by delicate musky notes in the background. On the palate, it is smooth and enveloping, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish. Perfect for pairing with seafood appetizers and risottos, it is ideal with fish dishes, white meats, and moderately aged cheeses.
THE FAMILY
You cannot tell the story of the Winery without telling the story of the family. It is a tale that begins in the early 1900s, in Serdiana, a land of farmers, olive groves, and vineyards. Here, in 1906, Antonio, the patriarch, was born. He is the one who began to plant rows, to connect vineyard to vineyard, to produce while seeking quality with rigor. His two sons, Franco and Giuseppe, inherit this passion from him and in turn share it with their wives Pina and Marianna, and then with their children. Today, the third generation of the Argiolas family is already working in the winery: that of Antonio's grandchildren. In the end, it’s simple: harvest after harvest, from parents to children, the tradition is passed down.
THE TERRITORY
Serdiana is close to Cagliari, just inland. It is in a hilly area, like an amphitheater around the city and its gulf. These are lands cultivated for millennia, and since then they have been the olive groves, fields, and vineyards of the city. In these countryside, many small medieval and Romanesque churches arise: each was the center of one of the farming communities that dotted the landscape. This is an area that seems made for vines: rolling, rich in sun and wind, with the sea nearby that mitigates the heat and cold. Here, the great Sardinian grape varieties are cultivated. Some are famous, such as Cannonau, Vermentino, Carignano. Others are less known: like Monica, Bovale, Nasco, Girò, Nuragus. Among these grape varieties, there is every type, every personality, and shade. They are treasures to protect, cultivate, and make known. Because we are in a land of winemakers. In the middle of the Mediterranean. In Sardinia.
